Midweek info post! If you’re not a crypto newbie, this will probably be old news… but you might still find something useful. 🙂
Seed Investment Without Fiat
It’s easy to assume you’ve got money to invest (and a working onramp) but that’s not true for everyone – especially if you hate KYC and want to stay private, under the government radar.
So you want to build your seed investment, but need an alternative to onramping. That’s a tough one.
Like the daily grind of employment, you’ll have to trade time and energy for earnings, and that’s often very small amounts of crypto.
Putting aside actual work earnings in crypto (which is possible, especially if you’re a freelancer), your best bet will be faucets and GPTs.
Faucets
Faucets have been around since the start of crypto: the idea is that it’s like a dripping tap/faucet that drips tiny bits of crypto into your wallet. Of course, those tiny drops from way back when are now worth a lot, but since crypto’s gone mainstream you’re looking at very low income. You visit, click a button, do captcha and get BTC or something. It’s usually about $0.002 per click, once an hour. Definitely worth looking for the simplest ones possible, and prioritising those you can automate.
I’ll look at automating faucets in a later post, if I remember to do it!
TrustDice casino has a decent faucet that gives you 67 sats every 6 hours (referral).
Freebitco still has the oldest running faucet, though they’re currently being weird with payouts after more than a decade of being reliable: shorturl.at/OjYBX [Updated: Freebitco is closing.]
And there’s a huge network of freebies in this long, long (sorry) list of very low-paying refs – they want you to do offers and so on to earn more, but there are better options (see GPT, below): .
GPT
GPT is “get paid to”: surveys, games, signups, etc.
There’s a lot of these that offer gift cards (as you’ll know from all the ads on every mobile app), but fewer paying directly in crypto.
The best one I’ve used is Cointiply – good rewards (dollars, not cents), very reliable, plenty of regular promos and bonuses. Minimum withdraws are $5 (BTC) or $3 (other cryptos). Referral: cointiply.com/r/kRg7J
Look out for Sunday’s post!
