{"id":449,"date":"2026-10-18T23:59:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T23:59:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bonjourgeorge.org\/?p=449"},"modified":"2026-10-18T13:03:31","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T13:03:31","slug":"earning-1m-through-crypto-week-53-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bonjourgeorge.org\/?p=449","title":{"rendered":"Earning \u00a31M Through Crypto: Week 53 Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you will know if you read my last post, this was not a good week.<\/p>\n<p>My main desktop&#8217;s HDD crashed completely and I had to next-day a new one, then rebuild everything from scratch.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, I&#8217;m a little obsessive with backups. I&#8217;ve lost some stuff (some pet videos that I&#8217;m upset about and will try to recover with some clever tools) but my Banking crypto&#8217;s safe and recovered with the good old reliable seed words!<\/p>\n<p>Relieved. \ud83d\ude2c<\/p>\n<p>Here are this week&#8217;s numbers:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.publish0x.com\/prod\/fs\/images\/19b56a0dee3c86b6d93fb50792dd050e8209039c72ccf1e7a232641f7b61bc1a.png\" alt=\"566 days\" width=\"302\" height=\"288\" data-id=\"nR3a8klwplB5QpqE\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That disk crash prevented me from acting on the little ETH price pop to $2,550 that I would&#8217;ve taken &#8211; a couple of percent on my &#8220;down&#8221; money &#8211; and then things kinda dipped. So for now I&#8217;m stuck with my $2,500 &#8220;down&#8221; ETH and the $2,600 &#8220;up&#8221; ETH.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s OK, it&#8217;s ETH. The big three always go back up. \ud83d\ude01<\/p>\n<p>In detail:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trading down 7.37%<\/li>\n<li>Banking down 3.08%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overall down 4.18%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Given that today&#8217;s a down day, I&#8217;m not unhappy with that. It&#8217;s still pretty stable, even though I&#8217;m back in the negative (boo!).<\/p>\n<p>The tracking&#8217;s showing a bit more red, of course.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.publish0x.com\/prod\/fs\/images\/b2487f11195557f32923b7ffc3617499f05cf535dda876f89703f58f61e6e97c.png\" alt=\"b2487f11195557f32923b7ffc3617499f05cf535dda876f89703f58f61e6e97c.png\" width=\"779\" height=\"239\" data-id=\"2med0gavJ4r51bDN\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;ll change once we get closer to the end of year. Well, unless crypto suddenly decides to buck\u00a0<em>that<\/em> trend as well! Ye gods, that would suck.<\/p>\n<h2>&#8217;26 Picks<\/h2>\n<p>The Picks all dipped. I wouldn&#8217;t expect any less, to be honest, with everything moving downward this week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.publish0x.com\/prod\/fs\/images\/f371b773631a8002d126fc565d98794c755793d81a017d4d037994dc2fd06e48.png\" alt=\"f371b773631a8002d126fc565d98794c755793d81a017d4d037994dc2fd06e48.png\" width=\"497\" height=\"237\" data-id=\"V7G6Wk2rDOGk1r9n\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a depressing year for those coins.<\/p>\n<p>I am sorely tempted to sell them all as soon as they go positive and forget the multiples. Then wait until the end-of-year pump drops\/crashes back down and pick some others for 2027.<\/p>\n<p>And I won&#8217;t be putting as much in next time, either. That was far too trusting and hopeful. \ud83d\ude1c<\/p>\n<p>Lesson learned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How was your week?
