{"id":249,"date":"2026-05-17T15:17:02","date_gmt":"2026-05-17T15:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bonjourgeorge.org\/?p=249"},"modified":"2026-06-17T15:18:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T15:18:16","slug":"earning-1m-through-crypto-week-31-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bonjourgeorge.org\/?p=249","title":{"rendered":"Earning \u00a31M Through Crypto: Week 31 Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aaaaand&#8230; there go all last week&#8217;s gains! \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n<p>Dammit, I knew I should&#8217;ve kept a &#8220;down&#8221; part for trading, as I usually do.\u00a0A moment of weakness and hope that everything was going up again.\u00a0Lesson learned.<\/p>\n<p>So prices have dropped and I&#8217;m stuck with an ETH position at $2,359.97 &#8211; not too far away, one big pump back into that region and I&#8217;ll be fine. I&#8217;ll even make my 1% if it goes to $2,389. That&#8217;s around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barchart.com\/crypto\/quotes\/%5EETHUSD\/cheat-sheet\">3rd resistance point<\/a>, so entirely possible.<\/p>\n<p>Here are this week&#8217;s numbers:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.publish0x.com\/prod\/fs\/images\/91cf42f632d0b2f9613cf64d63358604394e1e5f5a7eee1ce151c82177cd5a93.png\" alt=\"Day 412\" width=\"299\" height=\"312\" data-id=\"aLDM7k37eO6k6xKp\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not awful, but annoying when things were going well.<\/p>\n<p>In detail:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trading down 6.03%<\/li>\n<li>Copy Trading up 5.62%<\/li>\n<li>Banking down 7.86%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overall down 6.30%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m mildly amused by the CT numbers being positive (for once), even though they&#8217;re still deep in the negative on their active positions because they shorted down at the bottom. Still, not gonna complain about them (for once).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the end of a month on my weird timeline, too, so that&#8217;s a really annoying drop that ruined an otherwise excellent 4-week period.<\/p>\n<p>The monthly:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trading up 1.58%<\/li>\n<li>Copy Trading down 15.34%<\/li>\n<li>Banking up 4.86%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overall up 1.86%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s a long way from my 6% target for the month. The price drop also prompted the thought that HODLing is often better than trading (because I&#8217;m <em>still <\/em>awful at trading), which was one of the main reasons I started working out this strategy in the first place. I&#8217;m tempted to move some Trading funds over, make it a 60\/30\/10 split (roughly).\u00a0I&#8217;ll think about that while my Trading funds are all tied up.<\/p>\n<p>Constant adjustment is not always a good thing; considered adjustment is.<\/p>\n<p>Tracking&#8217;s still green on everything, thankfully (except CT, of course), though the dates are a lot tighter now we&#8217;re back in a dip. I&#8217;m pleased they&#8217;ve all stayed green &#8211; that&#8217;s progress, right there!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.publish0x.com\/prod\/fs\/images\/c49c4ab550725abb84e54e45211f9ab2cedf1801d2bda5557306c2c4a9e69fe3.png\" alt=\"Day 412 tracking\" width=\"617\" height=\"372\" data-id=\"bP6GMkmMxy0k0JLE\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>&#8217;26 Picks<\/h2>\n<p>The alts shifted downwards as well this week, with only ALGO still in the green.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, DOGE continued to climb. And SUI pumped 22% in a 7-day period. My ETH&#8217;s in flexible saving, my picks all have their prices set (except the ones earning interest, and I&#8217;m watching those), Banking&#8217;s all in order. Think I&#8217;ll go play some <a href=\"http:\/\/warthunder.com\/en\/registration?r=userinvite_227114152\">War Thunder<\/a> while the markets decide what they&#8217;re doing&#8230;!<\/p>\n<p><strong>How was your week?
